We are committed to providing our patients exceptional care, and in the midst of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we want to provide you with as much information as possible about the procedures we have undertaken as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Florida Department of Health and other agencies.
If you have an appointment scheduled and are experiencing symptoms such as fever (higher than 100 degrees F), shortness of breath or cough and have traveled to a region having cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the last month, please call us at (352) 377-7733 (option 2) to reschedule your appointment. Anyone requiring an emergency visit will be handled on a case by case basis. It is also strongly recommended that you call your primary care provider and describe your symptoms.
At the office - You will notice that we have taken precautions such as removing magazines, increased the number of hand sanitizer stations, etc. Our team is redoubling efforts to assure equipment and surfaces are thoroughly wiped down with a multi-purpose cleaner and high-grade disinfectant.
What you can do - We can all help prevent the spread of coronavirus by following some basic practices: wash your hands often with soap and water (20-30 seconds), use hand sanitizer as a substitute; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; cough or sneeze into your arm/elbow and/or please cover your nose/mouth with a tissue which gets disposed; frequently clean and disinfect surfaces and objects and limit social interactions.
